Physio & Pilates Workshop for Birth Prep and Recovery

There is a lot you can do to optimize your birthing experience and prevent postpartum issues like incontinence, abdominal separation and prolapse. We can teach you how to minimize the impact of pregnancy on your body, how to prepare for the birth itself, and how to safely recover through your 4th trimester.

This workshop will be lead by Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist Anniken Chadwick (The Cheerful Pelvis)and Master Classical Pilates and Bellies Inc Instructor Katherine Denham (Kalijo Pilates). They work together to provide you with the foundational knowledge and movement experience you need to feel confident in your pelvic floor and empowered in your birthing journey. The class can be further supported by individual physiotherapy with Anniken and private pilates teaching or pre/post natal specific classes at Kalijo Pilates as required.

Class size is kept at a max of 10 to ensure 1:1 attention to all and intimacy for questions and sharing. This workshop will be for the birthing mothers only. It will be held at the beautiful Kalijo Pilates studio in Davis Bay, from 1-4pm
