Our Approach

What makes us different?

A cheerful pelvis is foundational for physical, social, emotional and sexual well-being. We’re a collaborative physio team supporting pelvic health care and rehab, providing personalized and streamlined care for bodies of all kinds. We do this by inspiring, challenging and educating our care team, offering cutting-edge pelvic health care from acute challenges to supporting athletic goals and dream activities.

We provide exceptional care, because everyone deserves a cheerful pelvis. Our primary goal is to diagnose the root cause of our clients issues, often extending beyond the pelvis. Through a partnership with clients, and comprehensive assessments, we address root causes of pelvic health challenges, not just symptoms.

Our Values

These values collectively shape our approach to pelvic health, fostering a culture of care, integrity, and continuous improvement.

RELATIONSHIPS

We can always do better. there is no perfection in physio, and assuming we know best undermines the autonomy of our clients and the opportunity for us to course correct if we need to. Physio is not linear, it’s an exploratory journey with our clients, and humility helps keep our eyes open and make the journey the best it can be.

GROWTH

Continually striving to elevate ourselves, our practice and our profession.

QUALITY

Every little thing matters. Critical analysis is how we achieve excellence.

STATEMENT OF INTENT

We are a collective of settlers originating from around the world, and we recognize that we live and work on the stolen lands of Coast Salish peoples, including the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. We are grateful to be here and are committed to learning and respecting the history of the land and its peoples, as well as engaging with the land in a respectful and non harmful way.

We acknowledge our experience is not representative of everyones experience, and our ignorance to the experience of others can create challenges to clients accessing our care. We are dedicated to ongoing learning to reconcile and resolve the gaps in our understanding, so we can provide equitable service and a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. This is particularly for clients who experience marginalization such as Black, Indigenous and other People of Colour, trans and non binary folk, and people with disabilities. We value any feedback you may have to help our continual improvement in this area.
