We can usually generate the submission right away and tell you exactly how much is covered. Sometimes the insurer will put a hold on the submission to review, in which case they usually get back to us in 4-6 days.
We cannot bill to two insurers unfortunately, but we will provide a receipt for the remaining balance, which you can manually submit to your secondary insurer if you have one through your partner.
We accept partner/spousal cards – if the insurance is under your partners name, we just need their name, birthday, and sex.
We don’t direct bill for PTSW, which doesn’t mean it won’t be covered, it’s just that as each provider has different coverage policies for these claims it is more complex than the standard physiotherapy receipts. Please contact your provider for details on coverage (feel free to ask us for a sample invoice) and then submit yourself. If there are any issues, we would be happy to help as much as we can, just reach out to us.

Desjardins only reimburses the user, so if you insure with them you will have to pay us in full up front, but we are happy to submit the claim on your behalf.
Sun Life financial has changed their system and are requiring submission independently through their own portal. Their system has been incredibly challenging and restrictive and despite our best efforts we are unable to do submissions effectively and efficiently. We advise any Sun Life clients affected to complain directly to them to improve the usability for direct billing through clinics and we will be monitoring and offering this service again as soon as it’s feasible for us to do so.
Additional, we do offer subsidized appointments for clients with financial insecurity. The number of subsidized sessions will be agreed on with your physio and can apply to your initial visit. Approval is dependent on the funds being available in our subsidy budget. Please email us for more information!
Additionally, if your net annual income is less than $42K yearly, you might be eligible for MSP supplementary benefits and you can apply for this through Gov.bc. Please note that you must be pre-approved for supplemented sessions. They offer $23 coverage per appointment for a limit of 10 sessions annually.
